The Emona Sunhills Housing Project aims to provide formalised housing units to a previously disadvantaged community of Ward 61, located in the Tongaat Area, more specifically Emona. The construction of the Civil Infrastructure for this project has commenced on the 1 September 2017 and is expected to be completed by the 30 September 2018. Scope of Works:
The construction of the Civil Infrastructure for this project includes:
- Construction of Roads and sidewalks
- Construction of Sewer Services including tie in into Main Municipal Line
- Construction of Water Services including tie into Main Municipal Line
- Construction of Storm Water Management System (Roads, Platforms and Attenuation Ponds)
- Construction of Platforms
- Total of 250 sites to be provided for in Phase 1
